Podcast: Trigames.NET Podcast Episode 192 - Disenfranchisementent [Written 2010-10-12]
We talk about how the usage of franchises and brand names to identify a game may hurt, help, or otherwise influence our expectations of a given videogame.
Welcome to our inaugural podcast of broadcasting our behind the scenes crap live on Justin.TV as Al and Austin begin the podcast! Pete's out at a wedding, drinking, cavorting, and being generally uncouth. So the mature folks decide to sit down and talk about videogameses. Talk encompasses. Final Fantasy XIV, Retro Game Challenge, Plants Vs. Zombies with its Steam Cloud issues, and... more... Dragon... Quest... IX.

After what we've been playing, we talk about OnLive's new membership plan... of... nothing. Nada. Zilch. You no longer have to pay a monthly membership to "buy" its games, which is good. We then go into talking about how the usage of franchises and brand names to identify a game may hurt, help, or otherwise influence our expectations of a given videogame.
